When replacing a spa ozonator, you may find the old unit uses Red, Blue, and Green wires, while the new ozonator has only Black and White. Here’s how to connect them correctly.
Old ozonator wiring
- Red or Blue: Power (hot and neutral)
- Green: Ground
New ozonator wiring
- Black: Hot (line)
- White: Neutral
- Some new ozonators do not include a ground wire
How to connect
- Connect one old Red or Blue wire to Black (hot)
- Connect the other Red or Blue wire to White (neutral)
