LocF and LocP Error Code Hot Tub Spa Topside Control Panel
Understanding the "LocF" and LocP Errors on Your Hot Tub Control Panel
The "LocF" message on your spa’s topside control panel indicates that the panel is fully locked, disabling all keypad functions. This is a safety feature designed to prevent accidental setting changes—ideal for households with children.
How to Unlock the Control Panel
-
For models manufactured before 2020:
Press and hold the Pump 1 button for 5 seconds. -
For 2020 and newer models:
Press and hold the SDS button for 5 seconds.
Note: When locking the panel, holding the button for 10 seconds will first show "LocP" (partial lock), then "LocF" (full lock). To unlock, press and hold the same button again for 5 seconds.
If You Didn’t Intentionally Lock the Panel
The "LocF" error may appear due to:
-
A stuck button on the control panel.
-
A power outage or surge, causing the system to enter locked mode unexpectedly.
Troubleshooting Steps
