Why our covers are better inside
The part of a cover that matters most is the one you never see: the underside. It faces rising heat and spa chemicals around the clock, so that is where we build ours strongest.
- Double-wrapped foam core. Every foam core is wrapped twice in 6-mil plastic, a heavy-duty 12-mil moisture barrier heat-sealed around the foam. It keeps the cover from soaking up water and getting heavy over time.
- Reinforced hinge. Extra layers of heavy-duty vinyl and scrim, with reinforced stitching, run along the center fold, where a cover flexes every time it is opened.
- Heat seal. A full-length foam seal runs through the center fold to stop heat escaping there and help lower your heating costs.
- Chemical-resistant underside. Many covers use an inexpensive mesh bottom that breaks down quickly. Ours use 11 oz PVC-coated polyester, tested to stand up to high heat and chemical vapor without deteriorating.
- Built for energy efficiency. CAD-precise sizing and premium insulation let the cover seal in heat like a thermal lid, helping lower the cost of keeping your swim spa warm.
Tapered for run-off. The foam is 5" at the center hinge, tapering to 3" at the edges, so rain and melting snow run off instead of pooling on top.

Folding cover vs. rolling cover
Folding hard cover (this cover): insulated foam panels that are stiff and seal tightly, so it tends to hold heat better, especially in wind and cold weather. It is heavier, and most owners use a cover lifter to open it.
Rolling cover: much lighter. It rolls back instead of lifting, so one person can open the whole swim spa, but it is less rigid than a hard cover.

Warranty coverage & exclusions
Coverage. Our insulating covers are warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, for 1 to 5 years, depending on the cover model, starting on the date the cover is delivered to you.
What we do. If we find that your cover failed because of a defect in materials or workmanship within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it with no charge for materials or labor. Freight from Los Angeles, CA is not included.
Foam cores. The foam core warranty is void if anything has punctured or penetrated the outer vinyl or the inner vapor seal.
Not covered.
- Damage from animals, fire, vandalism, wind, storms or other natural events
- Too many chemicals in the water, or contact with other chemicals on the cover, including Armor All and other petroleum-based products
- Improper installation, strain, misuse, abuse, abrasion, accidents or neglect
- Alterations, or repairs by anyone other than our authorized representatives without our written approval
- Broken foam or torn vinyl from walking, standing or sitting on the cover, or from the weight of rain, water, snow or animals: the cover is not built to carry weight
- Damage caused by cover lifts
- Normal wear and tear, and layers that separate or seams that split from improper handling
- Fading of the vinyl or thread, which happens naturally with sun, weather, water care and age
- Scuffs, chafing or holes from dragging the cover or leaning or storing it against sharp objects
- Damage during transport from a dealer to the buyer
- Using the cover for anything other than covering your swim spa
