Will It Replace My DJAEA-0001?

  1. Check your old motor label: 1.0 HP, 1-speed, 115V.
  2. Match the voltage exactly. This spa pump is 115V. The wrong voltage can burn out the motor or keep it from running. Need 230V? See Sta-Rite Dura-Jet DJ 1.0 HP 1-Speed Spa Pump 230V, 2" fittings (NLA8696-1SP).
  3. Measure the outside diameter (O.D.) across the threads of both openings: intake about 3", discharge about 3". Measure across the widest point of the threads, not the pipe opening.
  4. Check the wet end (the plastic pump housing): it should match Sta-Rite Dura-Jet DJ.
  5. Confirm a 48 frame motor.
