Will It Replace My R55MWFBH-0279?

1. Check your old motor label: 1.5 HP, 2-speed, 115V.

A complete pump (motor plus wet end) is the easiest swap and replaces a cracked, leaking or worn housing at the same time. If your wet end is in good shape and only the motor failed (hums, won't start, or trips the breaker), a motor-only replacement costs less but requires moving the wet end, impeller and shaft seal to the new motor.
